Fodor's Expert Review Annie Bailey's Irish Pub
A bit o' the Emerald Isle in downtown Lancaster, this traditional Irish pub occupies a Victorian-era building that formerly housed the Sayers, Scheid & Sweeton men's clothing store. The native Irish owners have decorated the pub with artifacts from Ireland, and the words "Cead mile Failte" ("A Hundred Thousand Welcomes") are inscribed in the stone inlaid doorway. The menu includes fish-and-chips, Irish stew, and plenty of Guinness and Irish whiskeys. Like most Irish pub-restaurants, Annie's feels more bar than restaurant weekend nights.
