Tortuga's Cocina

Tortuga's Cocina Review

In this out-of-the-way rustic eatery with orange walls, brick, and hewn wood-and a lovely outdoor patio out back-it's easy to fill up on the chips and chunky, cilantro-redolent salsa. You should save room, however, for your equally yummy entree. The regular menu has familiar Tex-Mex fare, including grilled chicken and steak, create-your-own combination plates, and house specialties like chipotle shrimp and chicken mole. Among the vegetarian options, the enchiladas supremas are made with refried beans, guacamole, and a deliciously decadent cream sauce. Nightly specials add more authentic Mexican dishes to the mix.
