A popular roadside café serves burgers, sandwiches, great soups, salads, pizza, and daily specials. The burger selection includes not only beef, but seafood, chicken, turkey, and veggie options. If the weather is nice, sit outside in their beautiful garden area out back. A video game room keeps kids happy.
Part restaurant, part brewery, part self-described "gathering space," celebrated brewery Ninkasi's newest iteration offers a casual spot to sip on beers paired with locally inspired seasonal pub fare, rain or shine. Sample a few beers from the extensive (and ever-changing) draft list in Ninkasi's high-ceilinged open-plan gathering area, or—if weather permits—head outside to dine in the massive hop-shaped courtyard.
Two local women managed to establish this cozy, romantic restaurant in an old building that at one point was a refuse dump, and the result is a hard-to-categorize winner that has Mexican and Latino influences. Menu items might include sesame-crusted salmon with chipotle barbecue glaze, which you can consider washing down with a tamarind margarita. Flans, like much of the menu, are seasonal; try the Kahlua flan or the orange flan with chocolate in the middle.
Serving delicious seasonal Northwest cuisine with an organic menu of local produce, meats, and sustainable seafood, Adam's works to obtain food from farms, ranches, and mills within a 75-mi radius, most within 25 mi to keep its ingredients as local as possible. Its most requested dish is the pasture-raised chicken picatta, and its produce is so fresh it will bring tears to your eyes. Adam's is a recipient of 10 Wine Spectator awards.
The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a Sunday brunch. Its deli offers a wide selection of Oregon and international cheeses, charcuterie, and fresh salads from the kitchen. Its farm, located in the Chehalem Mountains AVA at de Lancellotti Family Vineyard, grows fruits, vegetables, herbs, and lavender for the restaurant. Request a custom picnic basket for a day of wine tasting, bike riding, hiking, or trail riding. Tastings in the Press Wine Bar are offered on the property, many from smaller, hard-to-find wineries.
Fresh, local, seasonal, and sustainable are the hallmarks in this dining room that attracts winemakers, winery workers, locals, and visitors with a creative take on Northwest cuisine. The menu changes daily and are available à la carte or as part of tasting menus. The wine list is extensive and includes selections from around the world in addition to a good selection of local offerings. If you're not in the mood for more wine after a day of tasting, try one of the many local craft beers on tap.
Inspired modern American cooking, from Alaska to Patagonia, is served in a beautiful yet modest space that includes a covered balcony terrace for dining alfresco. Menus often feature ingredients from local growers and fisherman, and a select group of small producers provide the organic grains, oils, seasonal fruits, herbs, and vegetables. Brews, wines, spirits, and beverages are crafted using local ingredients.
