On Eel Lake near the town of Lakeside, the little-known William M. Tugman State Park is surrounded by a dense forest of spruce, cedar, fir, and alder. Recreational activities include fishing, swimming, canoeing, and sailing. A campground has 94 electrical sites $16, hiker/biker camp $4, and 16 yurts $27.
