Fodor's Review:

A herd of wild Roosevelt elk, Oregon's largest land mammal, roams within sight of the Dean Creek Elk Viewing Area. Abundant forage and a mild winter climate enable the elk to remain at Dean Creek year-round. The best viewing times are early morning and just before dusk.
