Sea Gulch

Fodor's Review:

Ray Kowalski invented the art of chain-saw sculpture. For years he displayed 300 of his sculptures of cowboys, Indians, trolls, gnomes, and other figures at a park here called Sea Gulch, 10 mi south of Newport. The park is gone now, fallen victim to flashier tourist attractions, but at WoodCarving Outlet & Gifts Ray's sons turn out new figures, mostly of bears. You're welcome to come by, take a look at the workshop, and buy small wooden sculptures.
