Fodor's Expert Review Tu Tu' Tun Lodge

Pronounced "too-too-tin," this renowned and rather lavish boutique resort is a slice of heaven on the Rogue River; its rustic-elegant rooms have private decks overlooking the water; some have hot tubs, others have fireplaces, and a few have both. Guided fishing trips and river activities are offered, and nearby are jet-boat excursions and world-class golf. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The latter—open to nonguests (reservations can be hard to get)—is a four-course prix-fixe meal.
