"Good books and bad art" advertises this funky bookstore just off the downtown strip, and it doesn't disappoint. You'll find all the current bestsellers here, but the store also carries several shelves worth of DIY zines and anarcho-greenie manuals. A sizable segment of the shop is devoted to ironic novelty items, and the art is indeed paralyzingly bad. For a few dollars you can pick up a velvet Elvis or somebody's failed, conceptual-art school thesis.
