Getting Here
Most of Welches is found just off U.S. 26, often called the Mt. Hood Corridor here, about 45 mi east of Portland. On weekdays the Mountain Express (541/668-3466 www.thevillagesatmthood.com/mel-bus) bus line links the villages along the corridor, connecting in Sandy with a commuter line to Portland.
