Golfers rave about the Arnold Palmer-designed course at this 3,600-acre Holiday Inn resort situated in a juniper-and-ponderosa-shaded canyon overlooking Upper Klamath Lake. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, sailing, fishing, and wildlife watching are some of the prime activities. Rooms in the main lodge are spacious and modern; the two- to three-bedroom town houses have a plethora of amenities, such as built-in entertainment centers and outdoor hot tubs.
