Twelve miles north of Klamath Falls, Winema National Forest covers 1.1 million acres on the eastern slopes of the Cascades. It borders Crater Lake National Park. Hiking, camping, fishing, and boating are popular. In winter snowmobiling and cross-country skiing are available.
