The continental fare and 2,000-label wine cellar at this dining room in a gold-rush-era bed-and-breakfast are among the best in southern Oregon. Book well in advance, particularly for stays between late June and August, during the Britt Festival. Try the fresh razor clams, wild salmon, or organic beef dishes. There are tables on the patio for dining alfresco. Breakfast and a Sunday brunch, which tends to highlight seasonal and regional fruits, are also offered.

We live in the area and have eaten at the Inn several times. Everything has been good except the two times I ordered prime rib - the first time it had to be sent back because the underside of the entire cut was gristle and couldn't even be cut let alone chewed. They replaced it with another cut that was acceptable but the wait ruined the dining experience. The second time was on Christmas Eve when again I thought I would try the prime rib, thinking maybe the previous experience was isolated, and again it was gristly, could harldy be cut with a steak knife, I got maybe ten smallish bites of meat and 3/4 was fat and gristle which had to be left on the plate. The rest of the meal was fine, I don't think the fare is as good as many extol.

A world class restaurant. Excellent food, great service, and a extensive wine selection. This was where my wife and I celebrated our second anniversary. The staff was very helpful and the food was cooked perfectly.
