Portland Restaurants

Bluehour Review

At this vast, towering restaurant, the waitstaff is as sophisticated as the space, with white tablecloths and floor-to-ceiling curtains. The menu changes daily, based on available ingredients and the chef's whims. The dinner offerings might include lamb loin with wilted spinach, roasted shallots, and olives or Pacific rockfish with Gulf prawns, Jerusalem artichokes, Spanish chorizo and an herb emulsion. Try the Korean-style terrine octopus appetizer if it's available. The cheese and cocktail selections are impressive as well. This downtown institution is the perfect destination when you're feeling fancy. Reservations are recommended.
