The Berry Botanic Garden

Fodor's Review:

There are no berries to pick at this public garden and research center, which contains an extraordinary collection of rare and native plants cultivated by accomplished gardener Rae Selling Berry. Tranquil paths wind through many habitats including native plants, rhododendrons, and unusual alpine flora on a wooded 6¼-acre estate near Lewis & Clark College. Due to a local ordinance the garden can only receive visitors by appointment, so call a day ahead.

  • Cost: $5
  • Open: Daily by appointment only, dawn-dusk.
