Fodor's Expert Review Wild Abandon

$ Southeast American

Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.

Owner Michael Cox has created an inventive American comfort food menu at this small, bohemian-looking restaurant, with multicolored glass light fixtures giving off a deep red glow. Along with the fresh seafood and meat dishes likes cioppino and country-fried chicken, there are vegetarian selections like the vegetable polenta grill, the portabella ziti, and the tofu curry. The popular weekend brunch includes omelets, Benedict dishes, and breakfast burritos, as well as a vegan scramble and vegan French toast.
