This cutting-edge restaurant, aka "darklewis" for impractical lighting, is making big waves for inventive farm-fresh meals served inside a converted warehouse loading dock. Regional vegetables, seafood, and meat cultivated from local suppliers appear on a daily changing menu of pastas, entrées, and sides. Diners can order small, large, and family-style sizes, or let the chef decide with the fixed-price meal. Although the food is flawless, a lack of signage and proper reception can make your first visit feel a little like arriving to a party uninvited.

We stopped in for lunch at clarklewis while in Portland and enjoyed it very much. I had a really nice sea scallop entree and my daughter had a pasta dish she enjoyed. The Apple Crisp for dessert was very good. We would like to try dinner here sometime.
