Bright colors, original artwork, retro designs, and extremely luxurious suites fill this hotel in Nob Hill. Just moments from the shopping and dining on Northwest 21st Avenue, the inn looks like a stylish apartment building from the outside, with patios or balconies adjoining most of the suites, and a garden terrace for all guests to use. The striking colors and bold patterns found on bedspreads, armchairs, pillows, and throughout the halls and lobby manage to be charming, elegant, and fun, never falling into the kitsch that plagues many places that strive for "retro" decor. All rooms have full kitchens, two TVs, three phones, and large sitting areas.
