Colorful sights and sounds offer a feast of sensations for kids of all ages where hands-on play is the order of the day. Visit nationally touring exhibits, catch a story time, a sing-along, or a puppet show in the Play It Again theater, create sculptures in the clay studio, splash hands in the waterworks display, or make a creation from junk in the Garage. To reach the museum's complex, take the Zoo exit off U.S. 26, or take MAX light rail to Washington Park station.

What a fantastic place! We travelled with our three-year-old and it was an absolute hoot. He could play everything from grocery store (with a real checkout) to Dentist (with real x-rays). We easily spent a couple hours there before we could drag him out. Its a great place for kids to play pretend and have fun. We would definitely go back if we're ever in Portland again!
