Known for its excellent pastries and fresh baked breads (which are served at many top restaurants around town), this superb café was the first of the city's true artisanal bakeries. It offers light breakfasts and delicious sandwiches (the tomato-pesto danish is particularly good) for lunch. The cakes, cookies, and croissants are among the best in the city.
