Located in a former warehouse between the Willamette River and the train tracks in the industrial Central East Side, this upscale restaurant serves up inventive, farm-fresh, modern-American cuisine and has an excellent happy hour. The daily changing menu features entrées like fire-grilled lamb with harissa, ratatouille, raisin-and-pine-nut gremolata, and a balsamic glaze, and agnolotti pasta with shishito peppers, Dungeness crab, and mascarpone. If you're feeling indecisive or adventurous, let the chef bring you a four-course prix-fixe ($55) meal, which is served family style and spans the menu. The glass-paned garage doors that run along the front wall let in natural light and refreshing breezes when open in summer.

We stopped in for lunch at clarklewis while in Portland and enjoyed it very much. I had a really nice sea scallop entree and my daughter had a pasta dish she enjoyed. The Apple Crisp for dessert was very good. We would like to try dinner here sometime.
