Fodor's Expert Review BridgePort Brewing Company
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
The century-old, hops- and ivy-covered industrial building seems out of place among its newer, posher fashion- and furniture-focused neighbors, but once inside you'll be clear about the business here: frothy pints of BridgePort's ale, brewed on the premises. The hop-forward IPAs are a specialty, but a good option for the indecisive is the seven-glass sampler that might also include Old Knucklehead, the brewery's barley wine–style ale. Burgers, pizza, chicken, pastas, salads, and small plates are served for lunch and dinner. In summer the flower-festooned loading dock is transformed into a beer garden.
