Fodor's Review

A chic, upscale tavern, 23Hoyt draws kudos for, and revelers to, its scene-y happy hour, which features a wide selection of interesting small plates priced from $1 to $8. Choices, which change seasonally, may include roasted beets, chèvre, and pistachios; onion rings and harissa aioli; and a cheeseburger with bacon on a rosemary roll. With a cool, clean ambience and the owner's private collection of contemporary art on the walls, this corner establishment makes an excellent

place to partake in early-evening or late-night weekend noshing. The happy hour menu is available 4–6:30 weekdays and 2–6:30 and 9 pm–11 pm on Friday and Saturday. There are also plenty of tasty entrées, such as rabbit boudin blanc with black truffles and mustard, and grilled sturgeon with shell beans and artichokes, on the rotating dinner menu.
