Room
The rooms at Courtyard by Marriott - Portland Airport are comfortable, spacious, and feature all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a Marriott property, like flat-screen TVs, a workstation, and free wifi. There’s also a TON of USB and AC chargers scattered around the room, perfect for charging all of your many devices at once.
You Should Know There’s a lot of street noise in this neighborhood - and as a result, the street side of the hotel is a lot louder. If you’re a light sleeper, request a room in the back of the hotel or above the 3rd floor.
Bathroom
Depending on which room you're staying in, the bathroom can be a little tight (especially the toilet nook). But the hotel uses top-of-the-line shower heads and has excellent water pressure, so the shower experience is A+.
Lobby
The lobby is sunny and welcoming, with a few welcome pedestals, a seating area, and a wall-sized shamrock mural.
Tip Need a ride to or from the airport? Just let the front desk know - the hotel offers free shuttle service to and from PDX.
Pool
The good news: Courtyard by Marriott - Portland Airport has an outdoor pool! The bad news: at time of publication, it's under renovation (and there’s no way to know when it will re-open).
Gym
Courtyard by Marriott - Portland Airport has a full gym equipped with treadmills, elliptical machines, stair machines, and free weights.
Dining
Grab breakfast or dinner at The Bistro, the Courtyard by Marriott - Portland Airport’s on-site restaurant that offers. For breakfast, make sure to order one of their specialty coffee drinks (made with Starbucks coffee) to jump start your day, or grab a burger or sandwich for dinner.
Drinking
The Bistro has an extensive wine menu (at least for a hotel bar) and also serves up beers and classic cocktails.

Because the Courtyard by Marriott - Portland Airport is out by PDX, you’ll probably want a car to get around - and lucky for you, the hotel offers complimentary parking during your stay. Otherwise, the closest MAX station is a 23-minute walk away (or a 5-minute drive if you call an Uber).
Restaurants
Head to ParkStone Wood Kitchen + Taps (6-minute drive), a brew pub serving American favorites (think burgers, steaks, and sandwiches) cooked over a natural wood burning fire. Sa Bai Thai (6-minute drive), which specializes in traditional Thai dishes, is also an excellent choice.
Bars
4-4-2 Soccer Bar (16-minute drive) is a great place to grab a beer and watch the game (and by game, we mean soccer; this bar is a favorite for catching soccer matches from around the world). If you’re in the mood for something a little more high-end, try Expatriate (14-minute drive), a popular lounge and restaurant with an impressive menu of cocktails, sake, and wine.
