Ice-Skating in Portland

Ice-skating is the recreational activity of choice for Portlanders in good health and of all ages. Lloyd Center has a large rink right in the middle of the mall, which rents skates and other needed equipment by the hour; lessons are available as well.

Ice Chalet at Lloyd Center (Multnomah St. and N.E. 9th Ave., Lloyd District. 503/288-6073) has open skating and skate rentals ($7.50 admission includes skate rental). The indoor rinks are open year-round.
