The Prodigal Son

The Prodigal Son Review

This is one of the newest brewpub entries in eastern Oregon's ambitious bid to catch up with the rest of this ale-obsessed state. A cavernous former car dealership (think Model Ts) houses this oh-so-hip hangout, complete with leather couches, tabletop Pac-Man, and a minilibrary. The strong, malty house porter is a hit with young locals, and the menu sticks to tasty pub-food classics: fish-and-chips, Reubens, and Scotch eggs.
