Mingo Motel Review

About 16 mi west of Enterprise, the tiny town of Wallowa has a main street, a couple of restaurants, and a few stores, as well as this small, friendly motel. Each room has a different theme, ranging from celestial bodies to sea life. Bedspreads, borders, and shower curtains all share a colorful pattern that gives each large room a unique flair; the furnishings aren't subtle, but they're fun, and the rooms stand out from the run-of-the-mill units to be found in other motels in the same price range. If you are headed into the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, or are just seeking to avoid some of the summertime crowds in Enterprise and Joseph, consider spending a night at this more remote outpost.
