Lake Owyhee State Park

Lake Owyhee State Park Review

Twenty-eight miles south of Ontario, find picture-perfect views of the surrounding mountains from the shore of a 53-mi-long reservoir formed by the Owyhee Dam. The area has bighorn sheep, pronghorn antelope, golden eagles, coyotes, mule deer, wild horses, and a few cougars. A remote park on the gorgeous and isolated Owyhee River, it caters specifically to camping and boating. The campground has 31 electrical sites, 8 tent sites, and 2 tepees.
