Virtually the only place where you can dine well once you're in the park, the lodge emphasizes fresh, regional Northwest cuisine. The dining room is magnificent, with a large stone fireplace and views of Crater Lake's clear-blue waters. Breakfast and lunch are enjoyable here, but the evening menu is the main attraction, with tempting delights such as wild Alaskan salmon, pork loin with apple compote, steak, and vegetarian offerings. An extensive wine list tops off the
gourmet experience. No reservations accepted for breakfast and lunch; they're essential for dinner.
