Virtually the only place where you can dine well once you're in the park, the lodge's culinary emphasis is on fresh, regional Northwest cuisine. The dining room is magnificent, with a large stone fireplace and views of Crater Lake's clear-blue waters. Breakfast and lunch are enjoyable here, but the evening menu is the main attraction, with tempting delights such as wild Alaskan salmon, pork loin with apple-pear chutney, steak, and vegetarian offerings. An extensive wine list tops off the gourmet experience. No reservations accepted for breakfast and lunch; they're essential for dinner.
