Crater Lake. The focal point of the park, this nonrecreational, scenic destination is known for its deep blue hue.
Wizard Island. Visitors can take boat rides to this protruding land mass rising from the western section of Crater Lake; it's a great place for a hike or a picnic.
Mazama Village. This is your best bet for stocking up on snacks, beverages, and fuel in the park; it's about five miles from Rim Drive.
Cleetwood Cove Trail. The only safe, designated trail to hike down the caldera and reach the lake's edge is on the rim's north side off Rim Drive.
