Fodor's Review:

A very Old West-looking establishment, the Madras includes both hotel rooms in a 1911 building and more modern, motel-style wings. Every room is different; some have a historic theme appropriate to the main building's vintage look. The hotel's convenient location, just off the highway and two blocks from the heart of downtown, puts it within easy walking distance of most shops and restaurants.
