Jen's Garden
Jen's Garden Review
This "Garden" has grown to become the first award-winning, upscale restaurant Sisters could claim in years. The little ox-blood-red cottage swung open its doors in February of 2006—and by the following year it was garnering praise faster than you could say "Best of." In keeping with the European custom of small servings, the five courses are deliberately integrated so that the flavors complement each other. And every two weeks the menu is new, from soup to nuts. Or rather, in Jen-Garden speak, from appetizer to fish course to entrée to salad to dessert. For each course there are a few choices: chantrelle and butternut squash ravioli or New Zealand cockles/fennel/tomato/sausage broth; osso buco or berry-bread-pudding-stuffed roasted quail. If you prefer, you can always order à la carte. But since this is Jen's Garden, Jen probably knows best.
