Bowman Museum

Fodor's Review:

A tough little stone building (it was a bank once, and banks out here needed to be tough) is the site of the museum of the Crook County Historical Society, the Bowman Museum. The 1911 edifice is now on the National Register of Historic Places. Prominent are pioneer artifacts—chiefly agricultural implements and deadly weapons—that defined early Prineville.
