Boneless rack of lamb is the house specialty at this University Circle restaurant, which is housed in a 19th-century mansion that's now a seven-room B&B inn. Other dishes include salmon with rosemary pesto, scallops with couscous, and veal tenderloin with a muscat reduction sauce and golden chanterelle mushrooms. Herbs used to season these dishes come from the inn's garden, and there's an extensive wine list. Open-air dining is available on the front patio.

Coming from out of town, I had read a bit of good and bad from various forums about this place, but I decided to take a chance and I hit gold. Everything from the cheese, food, wine, and the service was top notch. Especially the cheese: don't miss this when you come here. The location was a little hard to find, but the place itself was beautiful, especially the pleasant outdoor patio where my wife and I dined. Next time I'm in Cleveland, I will definitely stop by again.
