Fodor's Review

Burritos, wraps, coleslaw with a kick, and fried bananas never tasted so good. The chips and salsa before dinner are notable, and the guacamole is outstanding. Make sure to get a booth toward the back of the restaurant to avoid the crush of incoming patrons. Brunch is served weekends starting at 9.

Awful - Stay Away

I can only imagine this restaurant has changed. The guacamole was awful - very little avocado - big chunks of onion and tomato. My "big plate" burrito was mostly lettuce - very, very little filling. The "beans" were rather tasteless lentils. In short, "Johnny, you're fired!"

Unique!

This restaurant is on my daughter's "to do" list every time she visits from Tampa. Decor is unique in this very old house and neighborhood. The mojito's and Bangkok Chicken are great!

employees must wash hands before returning to work

my sister, roomate and I went out for a birthday dinner here a few years ago and received something called chigalosis(sp) which is a food poisoning more common to third word countries. My roomate was hospitalized for a week and had 2 spinal taps to screen for meningitis.I managed to get better within 3-4 days, but my sister also went to the hospital, after which the health department called to ask us questions. The restaurant did not offer any compensation(not

even our meals)and did not seem concerned!!! Beware! I would stick to bottled drinks.

Fun food and atmosphere

Great causal dining. The shrimp fried rice is fantastic. Long waits on weekend nights - no reservations except for large groups.
