Fodor's Review:

Sample local fare and get in some excellent people-watching -- perhaps the best in the city -- at this indoor-outdoor market. More than 68 vendors sell everything from lamb chops to cigars in two buildings and an outdoor arcade, which is covered with tarps for the winter. The market is open year-round Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The Grand Market Hall is over 241 feet long, with vaulted ceilings 44 feet high.
