By Public Transit in Cincinnati

The Metro Bus System serves downtown Cincinnati and its suburbs. Buses are equipped with bike racks, and the service is affordable. Rush-hour fare is 80¢; other times, 65¢. Or, if you call ahead, before the next month of travel, you can get a MetroCard—one for the weekend is only $8.

Buses leave downtown from Government Square, on 5th Street between Walnut and Main. Government Square is one block from Fountain Square. The downtown bus loop is #79.
