Prairie Fire Pottery

The stoneware pottery and terra-cotta tiles made by local potter Tama Smith are prized for their spectacular, high-fired-glaze colors reminiscent of the rugged badlands, blazing sunsets, and brilliant prairie skies of western North Dakota. The shop is just a mile off Interstate 94, in the small town of Beach. Studio tours are available.
