Fodor's Review

A turn-of-the-20th-century manor house here is now used for the Parkway Craft Center, which sells fine work by area craftspeople. Here and at the adjoining Julian Price Park near Grandfather Mountain are some 100 picnic sites and the largest campground on the Parkway. The park is also known for its cross-country skiing trails.
