Fodor's Review

If you're looking for something a little different in a tour, try LaZoom comedy tours. You ride in a big, open-air purple bus and watch actors and comics do comedy skits and over-the-top routines about the wacky side of Asheville. If you're 21 or over, you can bring your own wine or beer (no hard booze) on the bus. In peak periods such as summer and fall weekends, LaZoom has three or four tours a day, including 90-min City Comedy Tours ($23 adults, $20 for Asheville residents)

and 60-min Haunted Comedy Tours ($20). Due to adult comedy routines, riders must be at least 17 on the Haunted Comedy Tours and at least 13 on the City Comedy Tours. Haunted tours leave from the Thirsty Monk at 92 Patton Ave.; city tours leave from the French Broad Co-Op at 90 Biltmore Ave.
