Fodor's Review

The Biltmore House supervising architect Richard Sharp Smith built this 1899 home in Asheville's Montford section; today it's a six-room B&B on the National Register of Historic Places. Most of the rooms in the main house—all redone by owners Peter and Lori White—have working fireplaces. Parts of the movie 28 Days were filmed here (star Sandra Bullock stayed in the Dogwood Room).
