At one of Asheville's most popular restaurants, the menu changes regularly, and many dishes are locally sourced, with entrées such as pecan-crusted trout with sweet potatoes, or herb-roasted pork with fingerling potatoes. Because this place is on the casual, homey side, and due to limited space and the crowds from Biltmore Estate nearby, even with a reservation you may have to wait. The charmingly renovated Victorian cottage in Biltmore Village has wood floors, plaster
walls painted in serene colors, and a fireplace in one dining room. The same owners operate Chestnut downtown.
