1900 Inn on Montford Review

Guests are pampered at this Arts & Crafts-style B&B in the Montford section, where most rooms have whirlpool baths, big-screen TVs, and fireplaces. There are lots of nooks and corners in the expansive public spaces for snuggling up with a book. The inn has a social hour every evening, with live music on Saturday. Innkeepers Ron and Lynn Carlson say that the Cloisters—a 1,300-square-foot suite in their carriage house out back ($535)—may be the largest suite in Asheville. Several rooms, including the Fitzgerald Room, have recently been renovated. Younger children are discouraged in the main house. A rental cabin near North Asheville is also offered.
