Albemarle Inn Review

This quiet B&B in an upscale North Asheville residential area housed famed Hungarian composer Béla Bartók in the early 1940s, when he was creating his "Asheville Concerto"; you can stay in his room on the third floor, although Juliet's Chamber, with its private balcony overlooking lovely gardens, may appeal more to modern Romeos. New owners Fabrizio and Rosemary Chiariello run this 1907 Greek Revival mansion B&B. Some rooms have working fireplaces and canopied beds. Gourmet breakfasts are included, served either in a sunny verandah or in a cozy dining room by the fireplace.
