This well-established B&B in an upscale North Asheville residential area housed the Hungarian composer Béla Bartók in the early 1940s, when he was creating his "Asheville Concerto," and you can stay in his room on the third floor, although Juliet's Chamber, with its private balcony overlooking lovely gardens, may appeal more to modern Romeos. Current owners Fabrizio and Rosemary Chiariello run this 1909 Greek Revival mansion B&B. Some rooms have working fireplaces
and canopied beds. The extensive breakfast is served in a sunny veranda or in the dining room by a fireplace. Social hours with drinks and hors d'oeuvres are held on weekends.
