In a restored storefront in up-and-coming West Asheville, Sunny Point lives up to its name with bright, cheerful decor, heavy on the orange and blue. It's a good spot for breakfast (served all day), where free-range pork sausage shares the menu with granola, herbed potatoes, and some of the biggest biscuits in town. For dinner, try the shrimp and grits; meatloaf with buttermilk mashed potatoes, onion strings, and sauteed greens; or build your own burger. Herbs and some
veggies come from the restaurant's organic garden next door. In good weather the best tables are outside on the covered patio.
