Riverside Cemetery
Riverside Cemetery Review
Authors Thomas Wolfe and O. Henry are buried here, along with about 13,000 others, including some of Asheville's most prominent citizens. The 87-acre cemetery, overlooking the French Broad River in the historic Montford area, has flower gardens and ancient oaks and poplars. Take the drive through the cemetery, where signs direct you to the graves of noted people.
