Asheville Urban Trail
Asheville Urban Trail Review
This 1.7-mi walk developed by the City of Asheville has 30 "stations" in five areas of downtown, with plaques marking places of historical or architectural interest. The free self-guided tour begins at Pack Square and takes about 2 hours to complete. Pick up free maps at Pack Place and various shops in downtown Asheville, or download the Urban Trail map and brochure from the website. Guided tours must be scheduled in advance.
