Fodor's Review

In the second-oldest building in Cashiers, built in 1892, you can sit on the huge, airy, covered back porch with a metal roof and eat some of the best (albeit pricey) sandwiches in the region. During lunch, which is often packed, specialties include the Arabian Club, with turkey, bacon, sprouts, and black olives on pita bread. The Black Angus burgers are excellent, and there are several veggie options. Cornucopia is more upmarket for dinner, with dishes such as bacon-wrapped filet mignon and sesame-seared tuna.
