Red House Inn

266 W. Probart St., Brevard, North Carolina, 28712, United States

One of the oldest houses in Brevard, the Red House Inn was built in 1851 as a trading post and later served as a courthouse, tavern, post office, and school. Now it's a pleasant B&B four blocks from the center of town, not far from Brevard Music Center. There are three rooms and a suite in the main house and an adjoining efficiency cottage. The Leander Room is a nice choice. The owners also rent out three houses nearby by the night.
