On a hill above Lake Glenville you can indulge your literary or romantic fantasies in the Brontë Suite or one of the other garden-house rooms named after English writers. Rooms have a four-poster bed and a glassed-in fireplace, so you can see the fire from either the comfy bed or the two-person tub. The main inn has a wraparound veranda, an observatory, and an octagonal dining room. There's a two-night minimum stay on weekends. Kayaking and boat cruises are popular on Lake Glenville.
