Graystone Inn Review
Less B&B than elegant mansion, Graystone is downtown but feels as quiet and remote as the countryside. The turn-of-the-20th-century home was built by the widow of a successful merchant, and she wasted no expense when it came to architectural detail—it's rich with ceiling coffers, columns, moldings, fireplaces, and other decorative touches. A covered veranda is inviting and offers views of the gardens. Bedrooms are stately and comfortable without being overdone. Suite bathrooms are unusually modern and roomy. Continental breakfast items are available 8:30 to 10 for those who can't make the 8:30 to 9:30 cooked meal.
